In this day and age, it's good to know that the wolf is being widely accepted worldwide as many people have begun to truly understand these creatures, whether it be through independent research, documentaries, or even cartoons. But the dangers are not over for wolves, and recent years of political actions prove that. It is widely understood that population levels need to be controlled for other animals such as deer, and hunting wolves at least in areas of the USA has been legalized recently for this purpose, but wolves help with matters like that just as much as a hunting man's rifle. What is alarming is how most countryside-dwellers believe wolves are nothing more than a similar concept to what the "big bad wolf" stories illustrated, they are evil, they need to be killed, etc etc. This can and will lead to overhunting, possibly another wipeout effect on wolf population if not controlled properly."
